The ninth in the continuing Cloud Plugfest developer-oriented cloud interoperability testing events was held July 22-24, 2013 as part of the DMTF Alliance Partners Technical Symposium, July 22-26, 2013, Portland, Oregon and Open Grid Forum 38b July 22-25 at XSEDE 2013 in San Diego, California USA.
Hosted by the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF) and jointly sponsored by the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), Open Grid Forum and other partners, the Cloud Plugfest series brought developers in different software projects and stack development efforts together with experts from standards organizations for in-person interactions, discussion and testing. The 9th event in this series was held Monday July 22nd through Wednesday July 24th with activities that took place in the afternoons of these days from 1pm to 4pm Pacific time.
Tests of various standards implementations, staging and testing of a joint demo of OVF, CDMI and CIMI were performed. In addition, the Open Grid Forum (home of the OCCI and WS-Agreement standards, among others) simultaneous related working group meetings as part of the XSEDE 2013 conference, July 22-25, 2013 in San Diego, California.
